How to Adopt

We only want the best for our dogs and their new fur-ever families, so we carefully match dogs to homes for which they are suitable and compatible. We work with applicants to assess and match their level of care and commitment with the right dog.

Currently, we are not shipping out of state. Our dogs have suffered through so much that we feel putting them through another traumatic ordeal is not in their best interest. We would gladly consider adopting to someone who lives in another state only IF they traveled to Southern California to meet us and the dog they are interested in.

Our Adoption Process is as Follows

Your application will be reviewed and if we feel like you might be a good match for the dog you’re interested in our adoption coordinator will call you to schedule a meet and greet. After that a home check will be scheduled and once we are certain that this is the right dog for you we do a “foster to adopt” program*. Where you will take the dog home on a 7 day trial basis to see how he / she fits in to your family. If you determine that you want to make the adoption final then you will sign an adoption contract to make the adoption official 🙂

*The adoption fee is paid upfront and is refunded if the dog is returned within the 7 day trial period. If returned after that the adoption fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Our Adoption Fees are

  • $350 for local abuse dogs
  • $500 for puppies (dogs under one year of age)
  • $450 for dogs saved from the dog meat trade
  • $350 for cats

All of the dogs will be spayed / neutered, micro-chipped and current on DHPP and Rabies Vaccines before adoption is final. We do not vaccinate against Bordatella.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please complete our online application.*

*We reserve the right to deny an adoption applicant.
